I find and download the torrent online. If you get the torrent file but it does not start downloading in the torrent client after you add it, maybe there are not sources available or they are all busy. Cant download Pirate bay torrents? Just use a VPN buddy, it should be fine. Guys, if your ISP has blocked TPB then just use any of these 6 VPNs recommended by other Redditors for torrenting. I am using NordVPN and CyberGhost without any issues at all.
Download automatically start after magnet / torrent is added. Steps to reproduce. Boot to windows (start qbittorent on windows startup is not checked). Open a torrent file / magnet from a browser (Chrome). Qbittorrent starts and immediately adds torrent / magnet but won't start downloading. Restarted qbittorrent and the download now started. If the ports that uTorrent uses are blocked, you can't download your torrent file (or share it with others). A good way around this is to use port forwarding (or port mapping). You can set up port forwarding to forward traffic to the BitTorrent ports to your PC (and vice versa), allowing uTorrent to make a stable connection. Currently I have two torrents from separate trackers that are on 0B of OB status. I am using transmission. On one torrent at last announce it says "got 50 peers" the other "got 48 peers." port is listed as open. I have changed the ownership of the download folder to debian-transmission. Any ideas? I'm fresh out of troubleshooting steps.
If you see that the number is considerably lower during the download, you can try to pause and start the download, or even delete your current torrent file and try to do the whole process again from the torrent website. In some cases, the problem could be with the torrent client itself. So try to download the same file with another client. I was facing the same issue. Changed the peer-port-random-on-start to true as suggested. Still was unable to download. Checked on some of the other forums found a tool called "deluge". Installed it on my Ubuntu machine the downloads are working fine now. Wonder what was the issue with transmission. See if this helps In Firefox: ToolsOptionsApplications. Scroll down to magnet click on it. Use the small arrow to access the drop down menu. If Use µTorrent (default) is not set, then you need to set it so it is. Then scroll down to TORRENT file click on it. Use the small arrow to access the drop down menu.
