Cant download dlc from disc ps4

DLC won't download even though it is purchased. So I recently bought some DLC from the Japanese PS Store. I bought a code from playasia and entered it. Everything worked out fine. The DLC I bought was the season pass (which included new costumes and such) for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, a game exclusively on the Japanese store.  · What IS possible, though rare.
