I mean the downloading process can be seen after clicking the download button on the top right of the browser, and the web page never actually open.  · Browsers (Chrome and Safari) Try to download this html file when opened. It is only on that link that it tries to download it. It is only on that link that it tries to download it. Also note that internet explorer opens it without a problem. Im having next kind of problem with IE8 32bit on 64bit system. The download attribute is only used if the href attribute is set.. The value of the attribute will be the name of the downloaded file. There are no restrictions on allowed values, and the browser will automatically detect the correct file extension and add it to the file .img,.pdf,.txt,.html, etc.). I have a page that contains a Page Viewer web part. Each time the page loads, in both edit and view modes, I get a File Download dialog box asking "Do you want to save this file?", listing the correct filename to which I'm linking (e.g., bltadwin.ru) with "yes" and "cancel" options. In the dialog box, the file is correctly identified as an HTML. Note: Firefox will not be able to properly handle a file download if a misconfigured web server sends it with an incorrect Content type. For example, Firefox may display the content as plain text instead of opening the file in an application or asking you what to do. (To learn more, see Properly configuring server MIME types at MDN web docs.) You can contact the website in such cases or you.

I've run into this before and one fix that we came up with -- rename the file extensions bltadwin.ru bltadwin.ru bltadwin.ru The files will then open in the browser as you expect them to. Apparently the team uses a vendor who creates these 'packages' and then has the team review the html file. No real way to have them change it. Similar concept we used in SharePoint when we uploaded training videos. Users clicked on the html file and all the content was tied to it. Layout below - must be able to open html.
